Force Field Explorer can be used to make "publication quality" images, even though this functionality has not been a primary design goal.

The snapshots below give some idea of the scope of applications that are investigated using molecular modeling techniques. The thermodynamics of nonpolar systems, hydrocarbons for example, have long been reproduced to high accuracy using partial charge force fields, such as MM2/MM3, AMBER94, OPLS-AA, or CHARMM27. Many-body polarization effects and/or higher order electrostatics, however, which are treated explicitly by the AMOEBA force field, can be crucial for predicting the conformational energetics of polar/charged systems. This includes many biomolecules.
